New Year... New Chief Executive

PMP is delighted to announce the appointment of its first Chief Executive, Graham Farrant.

Graham joins the company from Leisure Connection where he has been CEO for over four years. He will lead the day to day operation of the business and in particular, will contribute to the consultancy’s work on major national and regional projects.

Prior to joining Leisure Connection, Graham was Chief Executive of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and his previous positions included Director of Housing at Birmingham City Council, Assistant Director of Environmental Services and CEO of Birmingham’s City Challenge regeneration company.

Executive Chairman Peter Mann commented “We are delighted to have recruited someone of Graham’s calibre to lead our business going forward. He is a highly respected leader in our sector and brings a wealth of relevant experience in both the public and private sectors.”

PMP shortlisted for British Expertise award

The glittering British Expertise Annual Awards ceremony
was held on 11 November at the Institute of Directors in London, where PMP was one of four companies short-listed for the Sport, Leisure and Tourism Project of the Year Award for their work on the Singapore Sports Hub.

The Sports Hub is a ground-breaking project and currently the largest sports and leisure Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the world. PMP is playing an integral role in the PPP advisory team and has worked on the project since carrying out the initial feasibility study in 2002.



Entries for the Awards were at the highest level for years with the quality of winning projects being outstanding. PMP Director Robin Thompson, accepted a Certificate of Commendation from British Expertise President, HRH the Duke of Gloucester.



Robin Thompson commented "We were honoured to be one of the shortlisted companies for the award this year, with the quality of overseas projects by British professional services companies being the highest ever received. The Sports Hub facilities will set new standards both in Singapore and internationally for stadia, multi-sport and leisure, and we are delighted its excellence has been recognised."
